Trinity Center Community Church
History
Our Church’s History
Trinity Center Community Church, originally named Trinity Christian Church, was formed as an autonomous body in the summer of 1980. The need for the church grew out of the awareness that the North Lake Area needed a church in Trinity Center, as well as in Coffee Creek eight miles away. Our church is the first church to be established in Trinity Center since its early beginning, with its services originally being held in the IOOF Hall in Trinity Center.
Pastors who have shepherded over past years include John Morris, Bob Berger, Keith Stone, Tim Stone, Robin Simmons and interim pastor Jay Armstead.
On May 30, 1999, a ground-breaking ceremony was held for construction to begin on our new church building, located on property purchased in February 1994 on the corner of Airport Road and Mary Avenue in Trinity Center. Using volunteer labor and free-will contributions, construction was completed and our beautiful new church was dedicated on November 19, 2000.
We hope to add more detail and photos to our history page soon.
